Yokogawa Meters & Instruments Corporation announces that it will release the CA700 pressure calibrator on June 14. A highly accurate portable calibrator, the CA700 features a variety of functions that enable the efficient calibration of pressure/differential pressure transmitters and other types of field devices.

Plants typically have many field devices such as pressure/differential pressure transmitters and pressure switches that need regular calibration to maintain their measurement accuracy. A pressure calibrator is a type of measuring instrument that can be used to calibrate such field devices on site.

As the result of a growing awareness of the need for safety and stability in plant operations, increased attention is being paid to the maintenance and inspection of field devices. Thus, there is a strong need for calibrators that operate efficiently and perform to a high standard. The calibration of high-precision field devices requires calibrators that deliver greater accuracy and high performance. Yokogawa has developed the CA700 pressure calibrator to meet these needs.

The WISE-580x series are intelligent controllers designed for remote logic control and monitoring applications. The innovative and intelligent HistoROM data management concept stores the parameters of an instrument during commissioning. If similar measuring points are commissioned, the display serves as a data carrier like a USB stick.
