The MC-RTU flow analyzer provides continuous digital display of flow rate and total flow of liquids or gases. When combined with a NUFLO Turbine flow meter, selected for a particular application, the MC-RTU becomes an accurate flow rate meter and flow totalizer. Low power microprocessor technology provides the MC-RTU with long life and reliability. Easily programmable using the front four-wide keypad, the MC-RTU can be programmed to display a wide variety of total flow and flow rate volumetric units. MILWAUKEE, March 15, 2012 — The new Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 5370 programmable automation controllers (PACs) from Rockwell Automation bring machine builders a high-performance, right-sized integrated motion control solution for their machine applications. The 5370 series, which includes the 5370 L1, L2 and L3 controllers, features enhanced performance and motion capabilities while leveraging the common design and networking environment of the Rockwell Automation Integrated Architecture system. This gives users access to the extensive capabilities of the Logix Control Platform in a small, integrated and cost-effective package.

When used with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 350 servo drive, the CompactLogix 5370 series provides both performance and cost competitiveness for machine builders requiring up to 16 axes of complex motion, all on one standard industrial network – EtherNet/IP. The EtherNet/IP connectivity offers up to 250 percent more communication bandwidth than previous CompactLogix controllers, helping enable more network devices and higher performance control.

FDT-21 ultrasonic flowmeter is designed to measure the fluid velocity of liquid in a full/closed pipe. It is a handheld measurement system which is both easy to install and use. The FDT-21 operates according to the difference in the transit time of flight measured, and determines the flow velocity by measuring the travel time of a pulse from one transducer to the next.

Flow in the same direction takes less time to travel to the second transducer than does flow in the opposite direction. Electroacoustic transducers receive and emit brief ultrasonic pulses through the liquid of the pipe. Transducers are vertically placed at both sides of the measured pipe. Sensors are placed on the pipe and fastened by means of a clamp. The display will quickly show the flow velocity. The FDT-21 can be used for metallic, plastic and rubber tubes.
